Austrian furniture shop chain XXXLutz buys Bavarian Hiendl

XXXLutz goes Bavaria. 1.400 workers of the furniture shop chain Hiendl from Passau become workers of the Austrian furniture shop chain.
The accidental death of the firm owner Klaus Hiendl was possibly the matter of the sale. The combine authority still has to confirm the take over.
The Austrian furniture shop chain XXXLutz is active in Germany already since a couple of years. If the combine authority confirms the deal, XXXLutz has 17.400 workers in 198 furniture shops in Germany.
