<p>The Rating-agency Lipper belongs to the Reuters-group and has given several awards to Austrian fund companies for Austria and Germany. The group award in the category &#8220;overall &#8211; large&#8221; for bigger investment houses won the Raiffeisen Fund company Raiffeisen Capital Management. In the category &#8220;Overall &#8211; small&#8221; for smaller fund supplier the domestic Kepler-Funds KAG was successful.<br />

Even in the valuation of the best single funds in the variant investment categories numerous awards were given to domestic fund houses. Four awards to the Raiffeisen Capital in the Austria-valuation, as well as four also the the Raiffeisen bank-group belonging Kathrein &#038; Co fund management. Three awards received the Erste Bank fund subsidiary Sparinvest, two awards the ZZZ fund management and the Volksbank capital company (KAG). One award went to the CPB KAG, the Kepler Funds KAG, Ringturm KAG and the BA-CA subsidiary Pioneer Investments Austria (former Capital Invest).<!--adsense--></p>
<p>Some Austrian fund companies were also successful in the &#8220;Lipper Fund Award&#8221; for Germany. Volksbank Invest won the award for the best bond fund in the category &#8220;little fund companies&#8221;. The Raiffeisen group was happy about seven awards in the best fonds of the particular investment categories. Three awards went to the ZZZ fund management, two to Sparinvest ad one award in Germany for the CPB and the Kepler Funds.</p>

<p>The movement against globalisation want a general prohibiton of Hedge Funds in Austria. The main reason for their demand is the endangering of the stability of the financial market.</p>
<p>According to the information of Attac, Hedge Funds obtained an average interest rate of 12,9 percent in 2006. The income of the of the population in the belower levels decrease, while global millionairs obtain divine interest rates of the multiples over the economic growth.</p>

<p>&#8220;This kind of trend is a clockwork bomb&#8221;, warns Attac-expert Christian Felber. Millionairs should give one percent of their income to finance the minimum goals of the United Nations. This one percent would bring 254 billion EURO (330 billion Dollars).</p>
